Newland’s sustainable vision
Our company has been striving for a cleaner world for years through daily actions that include the choice of materials, the production process, the choice of partners, and the management of manufacturing waste.
Newland’s production chain, much of which is based on the creation and development of DHtech’s range of fabrics, is structured to minimize waste and pollution and ensures ethicality and responsibility to workers.
OUR CHOICES:
The raw materials
The fibers that give life to the DHtech range are dyed at origin with solid additives and processed at low temperatures without solvents or acids, minimizing pollutant emissions and dyeing effluents, very little water is “wasted” in the process, and no harmful substances will ever be released on the skin. The fabrics and yarns used in our creations are OEKO-TEX standard 100 certified; recycled or recyclable and environmentally friendly fibers are preferred.
Clean Energy
We use a brand new photovoltaic system thanks to which we perform the processing of most of our garments in our factory in Maccacari (Verona).
Recyclable yarns and recovered fabrics
Eighty percent of our yarns are entirely recyclable; all processing waste, when not recyclable, is used to make accessories or padding, making the most of all the materials used.
Sustainable packaging
For the 2025 season, we have decided to abandon common plastic bags to protect our garments, in favor of compostable bags.

When we are unable to produce in our own plant, we use partners in our area, where stringent regulations are in place to protect workers.
Easy care
Our DHtech fabrics are designed to waste less water and energy because they are antibacterial and do not generate odors; they can be washed at low temperatures on fast cycles with little neutral detergent. They do not need to be ironed. They are extremely durable, ensuring high performance over time. The range offers non-deformable, hypoallergenic fabrics and durable colors: more quality, less waste.
